Tulip Princess Irene is a striking variety with bright orange petals marked by distinctive purple to bronze flames, reminiscent of a sunset sky. First introduced in 1949, it was named in honour of Dutch Princess Irene Emma Elisabeth.

Planting & Growing Instructions
Plant bulbs about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart, in a sunny location.
Cultural Instructions
After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time. Tulips should not be grown in the same soil for several years, so replace with fresh soil every other year.
