  • Germination Instructions

Sow indoors. Surface sow onto moist but well-drained seed compost. Do not cover the seed. Propagate 18-20°C until germination occurs. Germination takes 10-21 days. Do not exclude light. When large enough to handle transplant seedlings to 8cm pots. Grow on in cooler conditions for 10-15 days. Plant out after danger of frost has passed with 50cm spacing. Seeds sown in autumn can be overwintered under glass for planting out the following spring. When plant develops 6 true leaves pinch out growing stem to encourage a bushier plant.

    Growing Instructions

This plant prefers cool weather. May benefit from a mulch around the base of plant to help keep soil cool. Taller varieties may need staking.

    Cultivation Instructions
