Located in Essex, UK, Gager Estate was created out of a lifelong passion for growing flowers and produce. It all began with my great-grandfather in 1875.

He grew a wide variety of produce that he sold to the local community. Since then, the farm was passed down from my grandfather to my father, who still runs the farm to this day.

As a fourth-generation farmer, it seemed natural for me to be passionate about growing crops. Five years ago, I started growing flowers and vegetables, giving them to my friends, family, and neighbours. Any additional produce I donated to the local food banks. This was something I was very passionate about and very happy to be able to continue to provide support to the local community. 

 

After a few seasons, I decided to expand my garden and sourcing affordable quality plants was challenging. Providing UK gardeners with the highest quality bulbs and bare-root plants, so they can create the garden of their dreams, is our main aim at Gager Estate.

 

Unfortunately, (at the moment) we are not open to the public.

Our farm is a working farm and our family home.
